| It's been a while since my last update. School's ok, I still despise Algebra 2. English is still as fun as ever, and Adult Roles is never boring. I did get a job. I work at McDonald's 3 days a week, and I have so much fun. The people there are great. On Wednesday I totally made a little kid's day when he got the last 2 toys he needed out of that group of toys. I have to work today 2-6, so come visit me. I'm usually on counter now. We've had 1 quiz so far, which was in Brockport, New York. Megan, Luke & Jillian placed 1st in STV-A, abd Megan got 1st in STV Individuals. Annie, Kaitlyn, & I placed 3rd in STV-B, and one of our two rookie teams placed 1st, (I think, but can't remember now) and Olivia placed 5th in YTR. I do believe that is all. We have another quiz this coming Saturday, and I can't wait to see all of my friends again. Aha! New news! Suman & Dinakar, the couple my mom babysits for, is pregnant. They're due in May. Woohoo! Until next time, which may end up being a while, so Happy Merry New Christmas Year. lol ~*~Rosemary~*~ | | |
| Hmmm... the Hookstown Fair is over... lol. School started Tuesday. It was pretty weird to be back. I have English 1st block, Adult Roles 2nd, lunch A, Algebra 2 3rd block, & Global Studies 4th block. My first two classes are fine, but it's all downhill after lunch. English is my favorite class so far, and Mr. Ochtun is a fun teacher. Yesterday I got to tell the class the story of Job. I've had homework in every class except English now. One Voice Music Festival is this weekend. We went for a while yesterday, but I had an interview at McDonald's, so we had to leave early. I got the job, so I have orientation on Tuesday. Tina got a job too, so now all 3 of us work there. Haha. I'm going to the Apologetix concert tonight! Woohoo.. I haven't seen them in a couple years. I must go. Farewell my friends! ~*~Rosemary~*~ | | |
| KINGDOM BOUND WAS AWESOME!!! I don't really know any other good way to describe it. Monday was pretty much the whole reason I wanted to go, but it was so much better. Roller Coasters, Hawk Nelson, Audio Adrenaline & Casting Crowns, all in one day. It was amazing. I absolutely loved the Casting Crowns concert. One of the speakers, Reggie Dabbs, was fantastic. If you have never seen him, I highly suggest that you do. If you have, you know what I'm talking about. The whole youth group loved him, so we saw him all 3 times he spoke all week. He always gives altar calls, and people always go. Everyone from the youth group that wasn't saved when we got to Kingdom Bound got saved after hearing Reggie Dabbs. We went to 2 seminars, both by Brett Ullman, and he was pretty cool. We heard Bob Lenz speak, and I got to talk to him & got a picture of myself with him & his sister Lois. Newsboys was the last band, and they rocked. The drummer did a solo while the stand he was on went completely vertical, spinning, and with strobe lights flashing. It was phenomonal. The last song they sang was Breakfast. lol I love that song. We had a bunch of people all around our campsite come to ours for the last night. On Thursday we said goodbye to our Canadian friends & went to Niagra Falls for a while. We rode the Maid of the Mist, and I got a few really good pictures. I had a really great time at Kingdom Bound & I definitely want to go back next year. August 5-8. I lost my voice telling my parents & PJ all about it as soon as I got home.
PJ & Kaitlynn picked me & Tina up from the New Brighton church, & we went to Kaitlynn's house to see some relatives for a while, then Kaitlynn spent the night at our house. On Friday we went to Aunt Nola's funeral. She had died Monday morning. She was in her seventies, and was a great Christian, so I wasn't worried about where she went. I didn't cry until I actually saw her, because I had been in denial about it all week. She was one of my grandma's six sisters. After her funeral Mom, Dad & I went & saw World Trade Center, which was a great movie. I'm really glad I still had some tissues left from Kingdom Bound & the funeral for the movie though. I cried throughout most of it.
Yesterday I had to go to the doctor's to get a physical & they called me fat. lol Not so bluntly as that though. Haha Right after we got done there we went to the DMV to take the permit test. Val was my examiner, so she gave me some advice & helped me to be not so nervous. She was really excited that I was getting my permit. I only missed 2 questions, which I realized were wrong immediately after I clicked Enter. lol So... I have a permit! Mom let me drive last night, from our house to Kline's. I drive like an old lady. I go really slow, and drive right down the middle of the road. lol Hopefully it'll be easier in the daylight.

| Hmmm.. yesterday I attempted to write an extremely long myspace comment to Laura to let her know what's going on with me, but it was too long to send, which brings me to the conclusion that it's time to update this thing.
I am now 16 years old, but I am still without a driving permit. I have to make an appointment to get a physical.
My birthday party was Saturday & much fun. I fell down the basement steps around noon on Saturday, and I find it pretty amazing all the thoughts that can run though a person's mind in the short amount of time it takes to fall down a flight of stairs. "Uh-oh, I'm falling. This should hurt. Have you ever fallen down a flight of steps? Yes. I hope I don't break any bones. I should probably scream to let Mom know it's me falling down the steps. What's going to happen when people show up for the party & I'm in a cast & on crutches? Stupid dog. Made me fall down the steps. I hope the broom & mop don't fall on me. Oof. That hurt." I only got 3 bruises on my legs & I'm fine, but it was quite a shock. lol. Lots of people came to my party, & Uncle Jim got me a full gas can. That can really come in handy, what with PJ loving to run me out of gas all the time.
Sunday we had a meeting at the New Brighton Church of the Nazarene about Kingdom Bound. I'm going! We have to meet there at 6 on Saturday night to pack up the van, then be there Sunday morning before church to leave. I'm so excited. (The mood ring Raeanne bought me even says so. lol) Hawk Nelson is on at 6 on Monday, and I can't wait. I'm also really looking forward to seeing Audio Adrenaline (Adios! I reeeally want that cd, which just came out today.), Casting Crowns & Newsboys. Tina & I met a few people that are going, so we won't feel left out right away. I'm really looking forward to making new friends & having tons of fun.

| So it's been a while again since I've updated. I've done Backyard Bible Club twice since then, and it's been really fun. The most kids we had at the Smith's house was 8, but we had 20 kids yesterday at Spring Run. It was chaos. The addition is coming along great, and Chuck says we should have the hole filled in by my birthday party. It's REALLY hot this summer. That's about it.
